Reduced hit points for monsters
Combats in the paragon tier are really dragging. It often takes several rounds (5 or more) before the party is able to drop a single monster. It’s common for the characters to expend all of their encounter power and even dailies and still be grinding away at several hundred hit points of monsters.
In light of how long the combat encounters are taking, I’m going to star reducing the hit point totals for certain monsters. This will largely occur “behind the scenes,” and I’m going to try out a few different ideas before I settle on one.
